Conference Dinner – Vintage Travel at MOTAT

Pack your imagination and bring your sense of occasion — the 2025 NZSAE Conference Dinner will be held at MOTAT – Auckland’s Museum of Transport and Technology, and it’s shaping up to be a night to remember.

In line with our conference theme, “A Passport to Belonging,” this year’s dinner will take you on a journey through time, set against the backdrop of MOTAT’s iconic exhibitions.

🧳 The dress code? Think vintage travel.
Whether it’s a nod to the golden age of aviation, classic cruise ship glamour, or old-school railway charm — we encourage all delegates to dress in theme and embrace the spirit of the evening. Prizes for best-dressed will be awarded (with a friendly wink).

Not one for full costume? No problem — even a simple hat, scarf, or vintage accessory will help set the scene and add to the atmosphere. It’s not about being elaborate, it’s about joining in. The evening will include a light-hearted table leadership quiz, so bring your competitive spirit — and yes, there will be prizes (for knowledge and best dressed).

Expect great food, great laughs, and great company as we celebrate what it means to belong in Aotearoa’s association community.

Transport to and from the venue is included.
